Our recent project in Year 3 was to design and create a wrapper for our very own chocolate bars.
We started by choosing ingredients for our chocolate bar and creating a catchy name and slogan. After investigating different chocolate bar wrappers, we chose different colours, and styles of writing to create our wrapper design.
We also crossed the bridge over to APS and made a mould for our chocolate bar using the laser cutter and the vacuum press machine.
Using melted chocolate and our chosen ingredients we poured our mixture into the mould and set it aside to harden. We then extracted the chocolate from the mould and wrapped it in our specially designed wrapper! Our final products were fantastic and we all had a great time using the tools and workshop at APS. The chocolate was delicious too!

At BIS HCMC, our story is one of connection, continuity, and care — a place where learning begins with curiosity and ends with confident, compassionate graduates ready to shape the world. Earlier this year, we witnessed a moving reminder of this journey, as eighteen members of our Year 13 Class of 2025 returned to the place where it all began: Early Years Foundation Stages.
