Plenty of Basketball matches were played by U14 and U19 Girls' and Boys' teams since the start of Term 1. In addition to the numerous home and away afterschool weekday fixtures, BISB hosted two DVAC Festivals in the past two Saturdays. Our Middle School (U14) and Varsity (U19) Boys' teams have had their Festival at BISB while the girls' teams visited AISV and VIS in Vienna, Austria taking part in this season's Basketball Festivals.
With days of phenomenal wins as well as some tough losses, all teams played exceptionally well. All student athletes showed perseverance and spirit, working hard to support each other every moment they spent on the court. Our teams have tremendous potential and lots of positives to take forward as they approach their end of season tournaments in March.

On our most recent Hungarian trip the Year 12 students had a chance to explore the 20th century art movements in Hungary and also get a glance into the life of, one of Hungary’s greatest poets, Ady Endre.
20 students in Years 5 and 6 recently took part in the Primary Maths Challenge. Nuala and Athena achieved a Gold award and Vlada achieved a Silver award. Other students earned Bronze or Participation certificates.
The BISB WOLVES had an exciting and challenging end to Season 1, participating in the prestigious NAGGE (Nord Anglia Global Games Europe) U19 Volleyball Tournament, hosted by TBS, Warsaw. Last year, our boys' team returned as champions, and the girls' team earned a silver medal.
The highlight of the weekend was the Christmas Fair, which brought festive cheer and excitement. Let’s take a quick look back, in a nutshell!
