At BISB we are committed to life-long learning. It is not only our Early Years students taking advantage of the Kiscelli woods, as staff took their drawing boards to observe the natural environment on Thursday. They will use these sketches as a starting point for an art project they will complete in Term 3. Some beautiful drawings were created in a peaceful environment. I look forward to seeing their final outcomes."
Additionally, on Mondays there is our community Art based experience taking students outside the classroom. 8 budding designers are exploring interior decoration and colour theory as they add an ombre wall to our counsellor rooms. This is an excellent opportunity for students to consider the various Art related careers they may explore in the future while also enhancing the environment of these spaces through using calm colours.

Early Years children and students in Year 1 and 2 are given three meals a day to help them develop healthy eating habits, as the foundations for this can be laid at an early age.
In Year 7, students are having fun with digital art inspired by the De Stijl movement, learning about artists such as Piet Mondrian.
