Looking Ahead: UKMT British Mathematical Olympiad 2023 The mathematical journey doesn't end here. We are thrilled to announce that 8 of our talented students are challenging themselves further by participating in the 2023 British Mathematical Olympiad, scheduled for today. The BMO is a prestigious event that tests the most capable young mathematicians with complex and stimulating problems, and we wish our participants the best of luck! A Culture of Mathematical Passion At the British International School, Shanghai, our aim is not only to celebrate those who achieve but also to inspire all our students to ambitiously challenge themselves with difficult problems and to develop a love of Mathematics. It is this passion for problem-solving and determination to succeed that we strive to instil in our students, encouraging them to give their best and enjoy the process of learning and growth.

As we look forward to the British Mathematical Olympiad and beyond, we are reminded of the resilience, aspiration and sheer joy our students exhibit in their mathematical pursuits. These events are not just about competition; they are about cultivating a community of learners who are unafraid to tackle complex problems and who find joy in the beauty of Mathematics. We eagerly anticipate our students' participation in the BMO and future events, and we continue to support them in their journey of academic excellence and personal growth. A heartfelt congratulations to all our award winners in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge, and good luck to our BMO participants!
