Letter from the Principal - Virtual School (VSE) from 28th April 2022 BSB Sanlitun has moved to Virtual School (VSE) with immediate effect.

BSB Sanlitun has moved to Virtual School (VSE) with immediate effect.

Dear Parents,

With a heavy heart I have to inform you that we have just been notified by the authorities that as part of the continuing Covid-19 control measures in Beijing we must move to Virtual School (VSE)  with immediate effect. To be absolutely clear, there will be no on-campus school for Primary or Early Years, from today, Thursday 28 April.

The school bus service has been suspended until the school campus reopens.

I am pleased to say that we have been preparing for this eventuality for some time now and later this morning you will receive further details about your child’s VSE from their class teacher.

We are going to try and organise for iPads to be available for parents to borrow and there will have more news on this during the day.

If you have any questions or concerns about the VSE please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs Harding in Early Years or Mrs Sanders in Primary.

I will write again with further updates as we receive them. In the meantime, I thank you for your support and forbearance in these challenging times. This situation will pass, and we must all hold on to the hope that we can finish our school year together again in person.

With best wishes.

Yours sincerely,

John Brett MA

Principal
