Once upon a time in the Early Years building, there was a group of imaginative children who entered the realm of magic and make believe through the pages of their favourite fairytales. The clues to their first story were hidden around the classroom: a pumpkin, a magic wand and a glass slipper… can anyone guess what their first fairytale could be?
In the realm of magic, the children unlocked their narration skills by retelling familiar stories they knew. They became princes and princesses, witches and wizards and enjoyed playing their favourite characters in their imaginative play.
The children even attended a great Kindness Ball where they danced in their finest clothes. What a magical week in Reception!
