The Year 6 students have been exploring, sketching and sculpting their very own replicas of coral reefs.
They explored the different textures, colours and shapes of real coral reefs by watching videos and looking closely at images. Each student then selected a style of coral reef to sketch. They used their shading and line drawing techniques to first sketch and then add colour and depth to their drawings.
After that, the students were able to use clay to sculpt and finally they painted their models.
