What a wonderful week it has been for the Year 1 children!
This week we celebrated 100 days of school! We began our week discussing the number 100 and the children used their imaginations to think about what or where they would go if they had £100.
Throughout the week we had a big focus on our BSB ‘Be Kind’ motto. Each class had the task of trying to do and show 100 acts of kindness and of course, our Year 1s did a great job!

Towards the end our week we had a Year 1 carousel of activities. We made 100-day head bands and glasses, we also did a 100th day workout where the children had 10 exercises that needed to be completed 10 times. The most impressive part of this week is the effort that was put into the children’s 100th day t-shirts. As you can see below, in our pictures from this week, we had some very creative ones!
