In Nursery, we read the story ‘Hugless Douglas’. The Children have been working hard to retell the story according to the pictures, they have even taken part in many hands-on activities to make the story setting using a variety of materials. We have talked about how to express love in different ways. It’s been more than impressive to hear those wonderful ideas and sweat stories!
The Year 1 students have been working together to learn a story which includes all the key words we have learnt this term. There were of course some challenges during leaning, however, we have such a group of ambitious children who took the challenge and demonstrated wonderful learning outcomes by completing all the tricky tasks to a high standard. What an amazing way to finish our Spring Term, well done Year 1!
The Year 6 students have learnt a story about Fashion Show. We talked about short amusing stories about a real incident or person. The students have worked hard to learn how to write anecdotes in Chinese. After learning the text, we have also explored the beauty of traditional Chinese costumes from the Tang and Han dynasties. Check out the lovely display in our classroom made by the Year 6 children.
