In Nursery we have welcomed the children back to school with an exciting new playground for them to explore! They have loved going to the different areas such as the sandpit, mud kitchen, creative space, slides and they have been having fun pedaling the cars around the open spaces.
The setup allows them to continue their development and demonstrate their growing skills in using large muscle movements such as skipping, running, hopping and balancing. There is also the space for them to create and expand on ideas in either different roleplay situations or using craft materials such as paint and pencils to make things.
We look forward to continuing to see how the children use the new playground in their play and are happy to share in their excitement of the new space. They have certainly been sharing with us their happiness in using it and have been talking a lot about it!
