I spy with my little eye,
You can hear with your little ear,
The big school bus goes beep, beep, beep...
And we all go travelling by, bye-bye,
And we all go travelling by.
The Nursery children went on a great adventure last week.
They clambered aboard the school bus, stowed their bags, fastened their seatbelts and were ready for the adventure to begin.
Destination... Laoniu Discovery Centre!
The children enjoyed the floor to ceiling climbing frame, the water area and the ball area where they could shoot out balls, pop them into suction tubes and also place them on the conveyor belt going up, up, up to the collection point that opened when full and spilt the balls out onto the children and floor.
The 'body' area was a highlight for the children. They could play a giant scale game of Operation, cycle a stationary bike and see the skeleton on the mirror and also put their hands on sensors and watch as the drum beat their own heartbeat!
The children loved the construction area where they worked as teams to pully-up soft blocks and then send them back down.
The children cooked up a storm in the giant kitchen and done some shopping in the supermarket, equipped with ATM, till and conveyor belt.
It was a fantastic day!
