Join Our Open Morning
This Wednesday was the last day of the Coding Club ASA. The club took the opportunity to review some of our learning. Over the last 12 weeks, students have learned about making algorithms which include loops and conditional statements in our code.
The students have used Scratch to create simple programmes which are interactive, for example, games and quizzes and animations. Many students have now learned that coding is a fantastic way to produce animations.
Computational thinking is fun! That is what we have been learning about. Debugging code can be quite difficult and time consuming but the rewards are worth it.
It wasn’t all hard work though! This week Coding Club ASA completed some fun quizzes to review the learning.
A sad time that this Coding Club ASA is coming to an end but there are some very happy faces of students who didn’t think that they could learn to code but have done so. A wonderful time and we can’t wait until next year when we can do it all again.
