The Art of Weaving!

Year 1 have had a fabulous week learning all about Weaving! We looked at examples of different types of weaving from all around the world from India to the UK.

The children also had fun looking closely at different items which were made from weaving. We were all surprised to learn just how many things in our daily life are made from weaving!

First, we practised paper weaving and then used our new skills to create Dream Catchers. The children were all excited to take their Dream Catchers home. Well done Year 1! All your teachers are very proud of you all!

A Swashbuckling Year 4 Production
