PE Update

PE Update | BSB Sanlitun - PE update

In this week's PE lesson, we continued to conduct basic track and field classes for KS1 students and advanced football classes for KS2 students and also, it is worth mentioning that this Tuesday we opened the first outdoor class of this term.

The first four weeks of each term are often the biggest challenge, as students readjust from vacation mode back to school mode. As students grow physically and mentally, their physical fitness increases, their athletic abilities improve and their understanding of sports also changes. Therefore, for younger year groups, we start from basic sports skills such as running and jumping and try to improve their skills through games and other fun activities so that they can continue to improve and cultivate their interest in happiness. For KS2 students, we were very happy to be able to open the first outdoor class at SIDE park this week, and the unit of study was Football. The larger field allows students to play freely and apply their football knowledge they have learned before. Everyone was exited and got involved and it was also a surprise to see that many of them had made a significant improvement since last term.

It’s always rewarding to see the happy smiles from our students and gratifying for us to feel the charm of sports and that through sports, students from different countries and cultural backgrounds are integrated together.
