Over the past 2 weeks, Puffins have been making Ancient Egyptian themed Death Masks in the style of Tutankhamun.
They have used many of our school’s 6Cs during their art lessons including being ‘Creative’ when they planned and designed their Death Mask. They have also been ‘Collaborative’ and worked in pairs to papier mâché a balloon to create a 3D face for their mask. They have also been ‘Committed’ and haven’t let setbacks such as the balloons popping put them off completing their task! Puffins have been asking many ‘Curious’ questions throughout their Ancient Egyptian learning.
This week, they will complete their Death Masks once they have added its facial features and gold and blue paint.
