What a wonderful week in Chinese!
Year 1 Native Group learned the texts about opposite words and how to use quantifiers. The children practised opposite words with a variety of fun activities. They also practised Chinese characters in various interesting ways. Some used Lego, some ‘spelled’ the characters with their bodies, and some built with pens. They helped and cooperated with each other.
In Year 2 (Native Group) the children discussed what activities or sports are available on the playground. We also discussed verbs related to movement. They wrote the words of the activities and tried to match them with the corresponding actions.
In Year 3 (Native Group) the children learned a fable story ‘Sitting in a Well and Looking at the Sky’. The children acted out this interesting story by pretending to be a bird helping a frog to see the world from a broader perspective.

Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
