This week, the Reception children have begun our exciting topic all about dinosaurs. The students are expanding their vocabulary significantly, especially in relation to dinosaurs, incorporating new words into their play.
They are participating in conversations, storytelling, and role play that showcases their ability to share ideas effectively and use newly learnt key vocabulary. They have really enjoyed listening to the story ‘Dinosaurs love Underpants’ and have been asking high order thinking questions about dinosaurs and why we don’t see dinosaurs on Earth anymore.
They are exploring dinosaur habitats and expanding their understanding of the world. The students are also working on labelling parts of a dinosaur using descriptive language.

Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
