In our Topic lessons we have been learning about weaving. We discovered that weaving is a technique used around the world to make baskets, clothes, chairs and rugs. Our Year 1s were very intrigued to see how weaving was used and even discovered a few things around their homes that was made from weaving.
We then practised our weaving skills. First, we had a practice using colourful paper and we then made seahorses and fish using the technique. It was amazing to see how each child took their time and was so careful with their masterpiece.

Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
