Our Leadership Lunches are arranged for our Year 5 and 6 students in their Upper Primary Hub. Guests join our students to talk about their experience in their field of expertise and to answer any questions our students may have. The lunches are always inspiring and generate lots of thoughtful questions and insights from our students.
Dr Tian Baxter:
Dr Baxter has always had an interest in food - its taste, the history of food, different foods in different cultures, how food is enjoyed and how it is part of celebration - this led her to the UK to major in food at university. With her expertise, knowledge and passion Dr Baxter has worked for governments, NGOs, INGOs and trade.
During her visit to BSB Sanlitun, Dr Baxter provided a talk on food and the environment, encouraging students to think about what is in their food, where it comes from and the impact food has on the world around us.

Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
