58th Malaysia Invitational Age Group Swimming Championship 2023

The 58th Malaysia Invitational Age Group was held recently at the National Aquatic Centre in Bukit Jalil on April 13th-16th 2023 and saw participation from nationwide state swimmers as well as teams from more than 10 countries.

Three BSKL swimmers were selected to represent Selangor in this 4-day event, namely Ryan Aymes from Year 11, Kaylee Wong from Year 10 and Joshua Lim from Year 7.

Ryan Aymes competed in 8 events in the Ages 15-17 Category and managed to break his personal best (PB) in 5 of his pet events.

Kaylee Wong competed in 11 events in the Ages 13-14 Category and was ranked Top 5 in 5 of her events and Top 10 in 3 of her events with the following medals;

1 Gold Medal – 4x100m Medley Relay

1 Silver Medal – 50m Breaststroke

Joshua Lim competed in 12 events in the Ages 11-12 Category and was ranked Top 5 in 10 of his events and Top 10 in 2 of his events with the following medals;

2 Gold Medals – 50m Breaststroke and 100m Butterfly

5 Silver Medals – 50m Butterfly, 50m Backstroke, 100m and 200m Breaststroke, 4x100m Freestyle Relay

1 Bronze Medal – 4x100m Medley Relay
