This week, BSKL Sixth Form were fortunate to be visited by university representatives from Sheffield Medical School and Imperial College London who gave informative presentations for those interested in studying STEM or medicine related degrees. This was a brilliant opportunity for students to learn more about the university application process to the UK and gave them a chance to talk directly with university representatives and ask questions. Additionally, on Wednesday this week, we hosted representatives from over 45 universities worldwide for a very exciting university fair. Students from key stage 4 and 5 were able to visit stalls and learn more about universities of their interest. This proved to be a valuable experience for many of our students, especially our Year 12 student who were able to progress in choosing the universities they’d like to apply to next year. We are looking forward to more university events throughout the academic year.

At BSKL, we deeply value the opportunities that come from learning outside the classroom. One of the most powerful examples of this is our school residential programme.
At BSKL, we firmly believe that fostering independence and autonomy in children is vital to their personal growth, confidence, and success.
