Creating Futures with A-level! BSKL’s Sixth Form Options Afternoon

We were delighted to host BSKL’s Sixth Form Options Afternoon on the 26^th of October, providing insights for our Year 11 students and their parents as they navigate the important journey of A-level subject selection. Year 9 and 10 parents were also in attendance, gaining an early understanding of the options available in the coming years.

The afternoon included dedicated time with department heads, who were available to discuss course content and answer any queries. Their expertise and enthusiasm provided a glimpse into the supportive learning environment we foster here at BSKL.

Our Head of Sixth Form, Ms. Malinowska, and University Counsellor, Ms. Galloway, along with Dr. Geddes, Deputy Head (Academic) also hosted a parallel session for Year 9 and 10 parents, creating a space for questions and personalised advice. I hope it was a valuable opportunity for these parents to engage with our senior team and gain insights into the A-Level journey at BSKL.

While we take pride in our track record of achievement, it is our commitment to knowing and supporting each student that truly defines life at BSKL. I hope this event was a testament to that commitment, ensuring that our students are well-prepared to make informed choices for their future studies. Thank you to everyone from our staff, student body, and parent community who contributed their time and effort.

We are now looking forwarding to the 14th of February 2024, when our Year 11 students will submit their final A-Level subjects and take a step towards unlocking the door to their future.
