This week the BSKL U13 Badminton Team took part in the AIMS Division 1 Tournament hosted by ISKL.
Our team of fourteen players have been working really hard in preparation for this prestigious event. The standard of the competition was really high and our players had a nervous start against the host school ISKL. Everyone showed real fighting spirit and amazing resilience to get a very narrow win only by 6 points. Following that, our badminton players were much more relaxed and convincingly defeated Garden International School. As a result, we won the overall U13 Badminton AIMS title winning many individual medals along the way.
Most importantly, our students represented BSKL with pride and integrity. They had so much fun and will take away many fantastic memories from the experience. We are immensely proud of the whole team - well done!
On Tuesday 28th November the year 8 dances classes were put through their paces by a professional Ceilidh band who had travelled all the way from Scotland to be part of the Kuala Lumpur St Andrew's Day celebrations last weekend.
In response to the growing global concern for environmental sustainability, BSKL Eco Lions have taken a bold step by introducing a refilling station aimed at recycling plastic bottles as well as reducing the carbon footprint associated with shopping trips.
We are thrilled to share the outstanding performance of the BSKL Swim Team in the recent KLASS Series Autumn Swim Meet held last Saturday at Alice Smith Secondary Campus.
