This term, our Secondary EAL students have dedicated themselves to enhancing their English, engaging well with their EAL classes, regular English lessons, and subject lessons.
Their hard work is showing in their improved communication skills and in their increased confidence, which have been particularly noticeable among those students who joined us recently.
We are very pleased to note that several students graduated the programme this term, an achievement to be proud of! Additionally, many more have progressed to the next class level—a significant step considering the time it takes to master a new language!
To celebrate the end of the term and the students’ efforts, our EAL classes played a series of language games and enjoyed an English movie as a cohort in their final lessons of the term.
Well done EAL students! We are very proud of you and have thoroughly enjoyed teaching you this term.
We have had a fantastic week celebrating Earth Week at BSKL. Across the school, the students have been reflecting on our theme ‘Sustainability and Plastic Waste’.
BSKL SIPS program which is designed for students in years 7 to 9, revolves around their weekly SIPS lessons, where they explore their own learning paths and personal growth.
