From stage performances to hands-on experiences, students across the school engaged in meaningful ways to mark the occasion.
In Primary, the Chinese New Year Assembly was a showcase of hard work and dedication. The performance was polished and graceful, but behind the scenes, weeks of practice went into perfecting every movement and line. A big thank you goes to the parents who helped with costumes and makeup, and a special appreciation to our Mandarin team for guiding the students and bringing out their best.
Secondary students celebrated in a more interactive way, taking part in activities such as Mahjong, paper cutting, opera mask painting, and calligraphy. These hands-on experiences, led by our Mandarin teachers, gave students a deeper appreciation of Chinese culture while making the celebration fun and engaging.
The highlight of the celebrations was the Lion Dance, which brought energy and excitement to the whole school. The rhythmic drumming, lively movements, and bright colors created a fantastic atmosphere, bringing everyone together to welcome the Year of the Dragon.
