Year 6 Transition!

They had the chance to meet Mr. Wilson, their future Head of Year 7, and learn all about the fun activities planned to help them settle into life in Key Stage 3. These include a treasure hunt around the secondary campus and Q&A sessions with current secondary students. 

One of the most exciting moments for the students was hearing about the bonding trip in Term 1 of Year 7. They’ll be off to Janda Baik to build friendships and teamwork skills right from the start of the year.

During the assembly, students took part in a fun activity in which they drew Mr. Wilson and surrounded him with questions they had about Year 7, ticking them off as they got their answers. 

The next transition activity will be the aforementioned Q&A with secondary students in March, where Year 6 will get first-hand insights from their older peers.
