This year’s competition was the most challenging to date, with the number of categories significantly reduced from over 100 to just 39. This meant that students from across the global Nord Anglia Education family were competing in far fewer categories, increasing the level of competition dramatically.
Despite these changes, BSKL students rose to the occasion and achieved remarkable success—securing four winning entries and three runners-up places across a range of musical disciplines.

Each of these students and ensembles demonstrated exceptional musicality, dedication, and resilience in preparing for this prestigious competition. Their performances were not only technically impressive but also emotionally compelling, capturing the attention of judges and audiences alike.
BSKL's continued success in the Nord Anglia Young Musician of the Year competition is a testament to the strength of our music programme and the passion of our students. We are incredibly proud of all who took part and represented our school on this global stage.
Congratulations to all our winners and runners-up!
