The students were able to prepare and try a range of authentic Spanish food in a typical tapas style, including pan de ajo con tomate y queso manchego, ensaladilla rusa, tortilla española and not forgetting los churros con chocolate!
Marta, the Spanish restaurateur, was able to converse with students and shared important information about the traditional food and culture during the visit.
It was a very enriching experience for all involved – the Year 10s will now be able to show off their new cooking skills at home.
Overall, a great way to end such a busy academic year!
