The event was a blend of heartfelt speeches, wonderful performances, and a celebration of the exceptional individuals nurtured within our school community.
Dr O’Connor, set the tone for the evening with his inspiring words about the journey our students have undertaken. This was followed by Dr Brown, who also shared some words of wisdom, focusing on the theme of friendships. This was a particularly significant theme, considering the range of worldwide destinations our graduates will soon be heading off to.
One of the most touching moments of the ceremony was the presentation of awards. Students were recognized not only for their academic excellence and dedication, but also for their contributions to the arts, service learning and their personal growth. The full list of awards and winners is below:

The ceremony featured performances by our talented musicians, which included two of our graduates. It was a pleasure to have them perform on the BSKL stage for one final time. Thank you to the performers: we were treated to a pitch-perfect rendition of “For Good” from Wicked the Musical by Manuella Opondo, a heart-felt performance of “My Way” by Aloe Blacc performed by Idries Ferhad, and an emotional tribute to Whitney Houston, “All By Myself” by The Quavers.
The form tutors presented the graduates, who stepped up one by one to collect their diplomas as applause filled the theatre. The ceremony was officially closed by Ms Malinowska, the Head of Sixth Form, who invited the graduates to move the tassels on their caps from the right side to the left, symbolizing the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
To the graduating Class of 2025 - congratulations on your achievements. The whole school community is incredibly proud of you. We wish you the very best of luck in your future endeavours, and look forward to hearing about your future accomplishments.
