In August, at MSSM held in Perlis, Sasha dominated the discus event from her very first throw and secured a commanding victory with a Gold in Discus (U18 Girls), earning the prestigious title of Malaysia’s National Youth Champion. She also secured a bronze in Shot Put (U18), a remarkable achievement considering she only recently began seriously competing in this event. To round off her performance, Sasha placed sixth in the country for Javelin, proving her versatility across multiple throws at the national level.
Just two weeks later in September, Sasha represented the MSSM team at SIPMA X 2025 held in Johor, against athletes from universities and higher education institutions from across the country. At just 16 years old, she competed in the U23 category and once again made her mark with a Gold medal in Discus and a Silver medal in Shot Put. Competing and winning against older, seasoned athletes at such a young age is nothing short of extraordinary!
Sasha’s achievements are a testament of her relentless determination, resilience, and pursuit of excellence. These victories are milestones of her growth as an athlete in an ongoing incredible journey that continues to inspire our entire BSKL community.
