BSKL’s Sasha Crowned Sportswoman of the Year at Selangor Games (SUKSES) 2025

Representing the Petaling District Sports Council (MSD), Sasha claimed three gold medals and three Selangor records in athletics, cementing her reputation as one of Selangor’s brightest young sports stars. Her stellar performance not only contributed to Petaling District’s overall championship victory but also earned her the distinguished title of Sportswoman among more than 2,300 competitors across 11 sporting disciplines.
 
The honour was presented at the SUKSES closing ceremony by Selangor Youth, Sports and Entrepreneurship Exco Mohd Najwan Halimi. Sasha’s recognition marks another proud moment for BSKL, as she continues to represent both her school and district with excellence, grit, and sportsmanship.
 
Looking ahead, the 16-year-old athlete is setting her sights even higher. She aims to defend her winning form and break tournament records in the discus throw, shot put, and javelin throw at the Selangor 2026 Malaysia Games (SUKMA). Beyond that, Sasha has her eyes on a place in the national team for the 2027 SEA Games, a goal she is determined to achieve through continued discipline and hard work.
