Strong Performances from BSKL’s U18 Teams at the JSA Tournament
BSKL’s U18 Girls and Boys delivered standout performances at this year’s JSA Tournament, demonstrating resilience, teamwork, and exceptional skill in what proved to be one of the most competitive editions in recent years.

Our U18 Girls showed incredible determination from the first whistle, taking on many of the top school teams in Malaysia. Match after match, they displayed unwavering heart and unity, pushing through tight contests with real grit. Though they narrowly missed out on a podium finish, the girls secured a strong 4th place, a result that reflects their hard work and growing strength as a squad. A fantastic achievement—well done, girls!

The U18 Boys produced an equally impressive run. They dominated the group stages, dropping only one game before powering into the semi-finals. There, they delivered a commanding 3–1 victory over ISP, earning their spot in the championship match.

In the final, the boys took an early lead and maintained control with confident, attacking play. However, a last-second equaliser from KLASS pushed the game into penalties—the most nerve-wracking finish of all. Three brave players stepped up for the shootout, but luck wasn’t on our side this time. Despite the heartbreaking ending, the team finished as Runners-Up (2nd out of 8 teams), a result that speaks volumes about their skill, spirit, and composure under pressure.

A special congratulations goes to Adam E Year 13, whose commanding defensive performances earned him the Player of the Tournament award—an outstanding personal milestone and a proud moment for the entire BSKL community.

Both teams should be incredibly proud of their performances. Their effort, character, and sportsmanship made this year’s JSA Tournament one to remember.
