
The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards are a set of awards given by Cambridge International Education that recognise exceptional achievement in Cambridge exams worldwide. It also celebrates the dedication and effort of both teachers and parents.
Additionally, every year, our Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards (OPLAs) are given to those learners in each exam series who have achieved the highest subject mark in their country, region, and globally.
Among the accolades are the coveted 'Top in the World' awards, which recognise students achieving the highest marks globally in specific Cambridge IGCSE and Advanced subjects.
Additional awards such as 'Top in Country/Territory'and 'High Achievement' are also offered in regions with a significant number of Cambridge exam candidates.
For the June 2025 exam series, BSKL proudly celebrates fiveaward recipients.
Gabriela and Renee were awarded the ‘Top in the World’ award for the IGCSE Foreign Language Spanish and IGCSE Foreign Language Mandarin Chinese, respectively.
Qinyi had achieved 'Top in Malaysia' for the IGCSE Geography.
Both A-level students, Isabelle and Maya,had received the ‘High Achievement’ award for AS-level exams in Media Studies and Drama, respectively.

For the OPLAs for the June 2025 exam series,BSKL proudly celebrates the incredible achievements of five of its students who were recognised with The Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards. These exceptional learners are among 2,200 achievers from 750 schools across 85 countrieseligible for recognition for their achievement, from among the hundreds of thousands who sat forPearson Edexcel examinations in the 2024/25 academic year.
Qi Xin was awarded the ‘Highest Mark in the World’ award for the IGCSE Mathematics.This extraordinary accomplishment places Qi Xin among the elite learners worldwide who have excelled beyond national and regional boundaries.
Ashley and Qinyi were awarded the ‘Highest Mark in Malaysia’ award for the IGCSE Biology and Physics, respectively.
Kaythari and Taehyun, both alumni of BSKL, received the ‘Highest Mark in Malaysia award’ for A Level Biology and Economics, respectively. Kaythari and Taehyun are represented by their fathers to receive the award.
These awards are a testament to their dedication and the high standards upheld by the school.
