Simon Head Message
Week 2, Term 2, 2025/2026
I hope you have all had a positive start to the term.

Following our recent Parent–Teacher Consultations, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on just how important strong, positive partnerships between home and school truly are.

It was a pleasure to welcome so many families onto campus and to see the thoughtful, meaningful conversations taking place. These meetings are about much more than academic progress alone. They provide an opportunity to share insights, celebrate successes, discuss next steps, and, most importantly, ensure that we are working together in the best interests of each child.

When parents and teachers communicate openly and consistently, children benefit enormously. They feel supported, understood, and confident, knowing that the key adults in their lives are aligned. This partnership helps us:

better understand each child as an individual

support both academic progress and personal development

respond early to challenges and celebrate achievements together

build consistency between home and school expectations

At BSKL, we firmly believe that education is most effective when it is a shared journey. Your engagement, whether through attending consultations, reading school communications, supporting learning at home, or simply checking in with your child about their day makes a significant difference.

For those families who were unable to attend a consultation this time, please remember that communication does not stop here. Our teachers are always happy to arrange a follow-up conversation, and we encourage you to reach out whenever you have questions, concerns, or insights to share.

Thank you for the trust you place in us and for the continued support you show our school community. By working together, we create the strongest possible foundation for our children to thrive - academically, socially, and emotionally.

Have a fantastic weekend,

Warm regards,
