This year we aim to send an even stronger delegation of budding BSKL linguists to the AIMS competition to compete against other schools from across Malaysia. Students wishing to represent the school competed in the Big Languages Competition for the right to represent the school.

In Secondary, students described pictures and their meaning in French, Mandarin and Spanish. In Primary, pupils faced a panel of judges who asked questions in French, Mandarin, Malay and Spanish.

Yet again, we were wowed, not just by linguistic prowess but by the bravery and self-belief displayed by the 100+ participants standing up to perform.

This is language learning and character building at its best.

Well done to all who competed and special congratulations to those who came first in their category; Chelsea, Raeann, Ella, Liam, Modan, Grace, Arianna, Siddarthan, Yi, Taehyo, Jung Yeon, Thea, Zoe.
