BSKL took four students to Bangkok Patana School, Thailand, from Thursday 5th to Saturday 7th February, to compete in the FOBISIA Secondary Maths Competition 2026.
The competition brought together 188 Year 7 and 8 students from schools across Asia, who took part in a range of challenging and enjoyable mathematical activities focused on problem-solving, collaboration and logical thinking.
Out of 47 teams, our students achieved some incredible results:
1st Place: Tiger Maths Round 1
3rd Place: Cross Number Round
3rd Place : Carousel Round

Well done to Callum, Seoun, Seojin and Ronson for representing BSKL so well throughout the event. Several schools commented positively on their mathematical ability, teamwork and conduct.
It was an enjoyable and rewarding few days of Maths, and we are proud of the way our students approached the competition.
