Students travelled to the stunning Mimosa Plus Golf Course in Clark to compete in the FOBISIA Golf Championship 2026, brilliantly hosted by British School Manila. Set against the beautiful backdrop of one of the Philippines’ premier golf courses, the tournament brought together talented young golfers from across the region for several days of competition, teamwork, and fun.
The event began on March 15 with a warm welcome and some relaxed driving range games and practice, giving players a chance to familiarise themselves with the course and settle into the tournament atmosphere.
Competition began in earnest on March 16 with an 18-hole four-person team scramble, where teamwork and strategy were key. Players worked together to produce the best possible score, setting the tone for an exciting few days of golf.
An early 6:30am tee time on March 17 saw golfers ready for action as the 36-hole individual competition got underway with the first 18 holes. Later that day, players switched back to team play for another 9-hole team scramble, combining individual skill with collaborative play.
The final day on March 18 saw golfers complete the second round of the individual competition over another 18 holes, before taking part in a fun and fiercely contested putting challenge.
The tournament concluded with a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of all players and recognising some outstanding performances from our students.

💥 Zilong – U13 Boys Longest Drive
💥 Makenzie – U18 Girls Longest Drive
Across the week, students demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship, resilience, and skill while enjoying the opportunity to compete internationally and represent their school with pride.
After several days of early starts, competitive rounds, and memorable moments on the course, schools departed (early) on March 19, taking with them great memories of a fantastic FOBISIA championship.
