Students achieve outstanding results in International Biology Competition

Students achieve outstanding results in International Biology Competition - Biology Competition
Congratulations to all of the students who recently took part in the Royal Society of Biology Biology Challenge competition.
This competition is aimed at Year 9 and Year 10 students and is based on GCSE Biology content, making it a demanding and highly competitive event. With over 42,000 students taking part worldwide, achieving an award is an outstanding accomplishment. Only the top 5% of students receive a Gold award, while the next 10% are awarded Silver.

A special congratulations goes to:

Pradhyum (Year 10) for achieving a Gold award
Henry (Year 8), Jiajia (Year 9), Caitlin (Year 10) and Yee Rui (Year 10) for achieving Silver awards
Ronson (Year 8) for achieving a Bronze award
Zac (Year 10) for achieving a Highly Commended award

It is particularly impressive to see students from Year 8 competing successfully against older students in a competition designed for GCSE level study.

Well done to all students who took part for challenging themselves and representing the school so positively. Thank you also to Dr Ainsworth for organising the event and supporting students throughout the competition process.
