BSKL were delighted to attend the pilot U11 Mixed Netball tournament hosted by Garden International School, marking the first U11 Mixed Netball event within the AIMS group.
Coached by Mrs Sackley and Ms Allen, our Lions were exceptional throughout the day. With boys and girls competing together, the team showcased excellent netball skills, athleticism and teamwork, embracing the spirit of this exciting new format.
With enough interest to field both an A and B Team, this event highlighted the continued growth of netball at BSKL and provides an excellent pathway into Secondary, where pupils can compete in the U13, U15 and U18 age groups.
BSKL finished the tournament with an impressive three wins from four matches, demonstrating great promise ahead of next year, when U11 Mixed Netball will become an official AIMS event, culminating in an AIMS tournament in Term 3.
