BSKL Pupils Shine in Kangaroo Maths 2026 Competition

BSKL is celebrating the outstanding achievements of its pupils in the Kangaroo Maths 2026 competition, with 120 pupils taking part and 39 earning medals for their exceptional performance.

The internationally recognised mathematics competition challenged pupils to apply logical thinking, problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning in a series of engaging and demanding questions. BSKL pupils rose to the occasion, demonstrating resilience, determination and a passion for learning throughout the competition.

Among the school's impressive results, 10 pupils achieved Gold Medal status, placing them among the competition's highest performers. Their success, alongside the achievements of all medal recipients, was recognised during a special medal presentation ceremony held on Saturday, 26 September, where pupils were celebrated for their hard work and dedication.

The success of BSKL pupils in Kangaroo Maths 2026 reflects the school's commitment to fostering academic excellence and creating opportunities for pupils to challenge themselves beyond the classroom. Through participation in competitions such as Kangaroo Maths, pupils are encouraged to deepen their understanding of subject areas, develop critical thinking skills and gain confidence in applying their knowledge in unfamiliar contexts.

Kangaroo Maths forms part of BSKL's broad academic competition programme, which provides pupils with opportunities to engage in a wide range of subject-based challenges. By taking part in these competitions, pupils are able to extend their learning, build resilience, embrace healthy competition and celebrate personal achievement.
