Year 6 Mountain Trip: Day 1 - a Native American stick game Day 1 - Monday 13 May 2019 As part of our IC topic: Native Americans, 33 very excited Y6 children left school at 9am for an adventure in the mountains. After a 2 hour journey, the group arrived at Layner: home for the rest of the week! Once they had devoured a light snack, the children were given the grand tour before being shown to their rooms. The first activity of the day was to make and play a Native American stick game. The children were quite competitive and made some very authentic sound effects.

As part of our IC topic: Native Americans, 33 very excited Y6 children left school at 9am for an adventure in the mountains.

After a 2 hour journey, the group arrived at Layner: home for the rest of the week!
