Welcome – Two New Additions at Sayram

At the beginning of May, our Head of Maintenance, Mr Ulugbek Rakhmatullayev bought two new individuals to the Sayram campus. These small, furry friends soon made a place in everyone’s hearts and Mr Slava, our Handyman, made a lovely new home for the Rabbits. There was then a competition to name them and Yasmin Pinero Palomino in Reception won – they are now known as Carrot (boy) and Rainbow (girl). The children in Early Years and Years 1 and 2 love playing and feeding them – they are careful to make sure they have enough water and shade when it gets really hot. By helping to take care of the Rabbits, our students are learning about responsibility and about respecting all species in our world.
