Walk All Over Cancer

Mark the Date – 26/10 – Walk All Over Cancer - BST are delighted to announce that on Tuesday, 26th October the whole school will be "Walking All Over Cancer". Each year group will have an hour in which they will be able to walk the laid out circuit around the Kalandar campus. The idea is to walk, not run, the circuit as many times as possible in the given hour and parents are welcome to join in during the times below or join the fitness corner for some Zumba/Yoga kindly provided by Be Fit. The times are: 

• SAYRAM STUDENTS ON KALANDAR CAMPUS  
  • RECEPTION-YEAR 2 - 9.00-10.00 
• KALANDAR STUDENTS 
  • YEARS 3 & 4 - 10.35-11.35 
  • YEARS 5 & 6 - 12.15-13.15 
  • YEARS 7-9 - 13.15-14.15 
  • YEARS 10-13 - 14.15-15.15 
  • PARENTS - 15.15-16.15 

In this time, we are all encouraged to reflect on our relationships with our friends and family. It's not just a walk, its a time to be thankful for everything we have and all the good times we have had, have and will still have with those we love.  
We all have fond memories of someone who had cancer and someone who is fighting the brave fight.  
We ask all participants to make a donation on the day and we will be selling specially designed T-shirts for the event. All the money raised will be donated to the children’s cancer ward here in Tashkent and will be dedicated to Mr. David Kirkham, a former Principal at BST, who recently lost his battle to cancer.
