The British School Yangon is delighted to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our students in the 2026 IGCSE examinations. These outstanding results reflect our students’ dedication, ambition, and resilience, as well as the unwavering support of our teachers and families.

The British School Yangon is delighted to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our students in the 2026 IGCSE examinations. These outstanding results reflect our students’ dedication, ambition, and resilience, as well as the unwavering support of our teachers and families.

Our students achieved excellent outcomes across a wide range of subjects, with:

64% of all grades awarded at A to A*
85% of all grades awarded at A to B*
98% of all grades awarded at A to C*

These results demonstrate not only strong academic achievement but also students’ commitment to challenging themselves and striving for their personal best.

We are especially proud to recognise four students whose exceptional performances stand out among an already impressive cohort:

Sandi achieved an outstanding 9 A* grades.
Nicole achieved 7 A* grades and 3 A grades.
Michelle achieved 6 A* grades and 3 A grades.
Minn Myat achieved 2 A* grades and 8 A grades.

Their accomplishments reflect years of hard work, perseverance, and a genuine passion for learning. They have demonstrated what is possible when talent is combined with determination and commitment.
