Nurturing Passions into Confidence Through ASCs at BSY

Each week, students eagerly take part in a diverse range of activities designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and personal growth. From sports and yoga to creative and performing arts, students have countless opportunities to stay active, express themselves, and build confidence beyond the classroom. Those with a passion for innovation and academic challenge can immerse themselves in STEM activities, debates, Model United Nations (MUN), the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, and a variety of special interest clubs that encourage critical thinking and collaboration.

ASCs play an important role in enriching the student experience by allowing learners to pursue their passions while developing skills that support their academic and personal journeys. Whether working as part of a team on the sports field, solving complex problems in a STEM club, preparing for a debate, or performing on stage, students learn the importance of perseverance, communication, leadership, and teamwork.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the programme is the opportunity for students to build meaningful friendships across year groups and connect with peers who share similar interests. These experiences help foster a strong sense of community and belonging, allowing students to develop confidence and independence while having fun.
