GREAT JOURNEYS START WITH SMALLS STEPS AT BVIS HCMC
On Monday, November 9th, a group of staff and Students from Chuyen Biet Rang Dong school visited us here at BVIS. This school is one of our new link schools within the Binh Chanh community.
The purpose of their visit was to meet our staff and students with whom they will work closely throughout the academic year. They also came to seek some inspiration from our facilities and resources to develop their plans for their school.
Students had the opportunity to play in the EYFS and Primary outdoor areas, visit the BVIS Library and take part in activities led by some of our students who have demonstrated outstanding perseverance in their lessons with Ms Julie Jackson and Ms Lianne Hawxwell-Green.
The BVIS Community Learning programme have sponsored the development of the outdoor area and ‘green learning environment’ at Rang Dong school and look forward to sharing ideas and working together to create a beautiful learning area where students and staff can learn together. A group of BVIS staff and students will also begin facilitating activities at Rang Dong school in the new year.
We invite the BVIS community to come and meet some of the staff and students of Chuyen Biet Rang Dong on Saturday, December 12th as they perform Christmas carols with our choir. This is an event that we are certain will bring Christmas joy to all who attend.
