OUTSTANDING LEARNER AWARDS FROM CAMBRIDGE AND PEARSON EDEXCEL 2025

Twelve Secondary students from the British Vietnamese International School (BVIS) Ho Chi Minh City have been awarded Outstanding Learner Awards by Cambridge and Pearson, based on their results in the international examinations for the 2024–2025 academic year. This impressive achievement continues to affirm BVIS’s exceptional educational quality within Vietnam’s international school system.

With 3 titles as ‘Top in the World’, 8 titles as ‘Top in Vietnam’, and 3 titles for 'High Achievements’, this year’s results reflect the high-quality international educational environment at BVIS. In our school we continuously challenge our student academically, while also developing holistically according to their interests, strengths, and personal passions through diverse experiences in sports, music, and leadership opportunities.

OUR OUTSTANDING IGCSE AND A LEVEL RESULTS ARE SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER COMPARED WITH UK AVERAGE!

Over the years, BVIS students’ results in the International GCSE and A Level examinations have consistently exceeded the averages in the UK, based on Ofqual statistics. Specifically, 62% of BVIS students’ IGCSE grades were A*–A, compared with the UK average of 21.8%; for A Levels, the A*–A rate reached 42%, while the UK average was 28.2%

OUR YEAR 6’S STELLAR MATHS AND ENGLISH RESULTS EXCEEED UK AVERAGE SAS

Our Year 6 students’ performance in the English and Maths assessments conducted by GL Assessment in May 2025 was outstanding, significantly exceeding the average score of 100 for primary schools in the United Kingdom.
