Dear CDS Families,
Another busy week here at CDS sees our students enjoying the beginning of life after classes. With middle school and high school sports in full swing, we now have our primary after-school activities program off and running. After-school activities are a way for our students to extend their learning and love of school outside of the classroom. Whether it is by participating in sports, games, the arts, or languages, we aim to provide the highest level of quality in our extracurricular menu for our students.
We look forward to the week ahead and celebrating el 15 de setiembre and the independence of Costa Rica with the launch of “Semana Cívica.” The week begins with a ceremonial raising of the flag on Monday morning and then culminates with a whole school celebration on Friday, September 16th. A special thank you to our Spanish department for all their hard work in planning the week of activities to recognize this special time in our country’s history.
