Welcoming Renee Foster

Welcoming Renee Foster - Welcoming Renee Foster

Hello Country Day School Community,

We are proud to share an exciting addition to our leadership team.

Please join us in welcoming Reneé Foster as our new Secondary School Principal, beginning in July 2026.

Reneé brings more than 25 years of experience in international and U.S. schools, with a strong focus on inclusion, student support, and building environments where every learner feels seen, supported, and challenged to grow. She currently serves as Director of Student Support Services at the International Community School of Addis in Ethiopia and has held leadership roles across diverse global communities.

Her work is grounded in what we value most at Country Day School; belonging, purpose, and growth. Reneé has led teams in designing thoughtful, student-centered programs that help students build confidence, think independently, and develop skills that prepare them for success in school and in a changing world.

Beyond her school leadership, Reneé contributes to the global education community as an Accreditation Evaluator with the Council of International Schools (CIS) and as an Associate Director with the Special Education Network and Inclusion Association (SENIA). She also serves on boards supporting inclusion initiatives in Africa, reflecting both a global perspective and a deep commitment to this work.

At Country Day School, we believe in a journey where Everyone Grows. Everyone Exceeds. Reneé’s leadership will help us continue to bring that promise to lifstrengthening our Secondary School experience and ensuring every student is known, challenged, and inspired.

Upon her arrival, we will be hosting a community event to come together and formally welcome her to Country Day School before the start of the new school year.

We look forward to welcoming Reneé and her family to our community and to the journey ahead together.
