Continuous training for educational excellence

At Collège Champittet, we are committed to investing in the long-term professional growth of our teachers and staff. Continuous training and learning opportunities help our educators expand their expertise, ensuring that our students benefit from the highest standards of teaching, care and support.
One way we foster professional development is through our Pedagogical Days. During our most recent Pedagogical Day, held on October 26th, Champittet teachers and staff came together for a full programme of workshops and training sessions covering topics ranging from academic excellence to student wellbeing and safety.
Sharing best practices and learning together
Throughout the day, our educators exchanged ideas, explored new approaches and learned from one another across a broad range of subjects.
Our discussions covered the International Baccalaureate and Swiss Maturité programmes, STEAM education, multilingualism, Differentiation and Universal Design for Learning, first aid, and safety training, among other topics. We also held dedicated sessions on Primary and Preschool education, while a debriefing meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on our school’s recent cultural trips and share feedback.
Delivering exceptional education for every student
Professional development initiatives such as Pedagogical Day enable our teachers and staff to stay up to date with the latest educational research, teaching strategies and approaches to student wellbeing. By investing in continuous learning, we strengthen both our academic programmes and the support we provide to every student.
Beyond the individual training sessions, the day offered valuable opportunities for colleagues to connect across departments, exchange perspectives and work towards common goals. At Collège Champittet, this collaborative spirit lies at the heart of our culture of reflection and continuous improvement, enriching the educational experience of every student.
